Just when you thought they couldn't get dumber

I'm not in the market for a new car, mine does just fine at 36MPG. But jeeze, if I was looking for a new car, I would have to wonder what the people in charge at these companies use for brains.

Its not like this is some car they hope to make, they're making it ... NOW ... and yet they refuse to sell it.

I'm sorry, I know they're dumb, but some days I still get surprised by it all.

    My British husband can't believe what passes for fuel-efficient in this country. I wish there was a way to rise up and demand that we get sold the same high-efficiency cars as the UK gets. And that we not get charged for incoming cellphone minutes, which is standard in the UK!

    True, true, but then again we have other "benefits" here, such as not having to pay for TV licenses (which shocked me when I lived in Europe), insulated homes (at least where I lived insulation was almost unheard of), and I'm sure there are things I am forgetting. As an American I am happy to be in the US, but there are some things done here that is so dumb its amazing.
